Marcas con mayor valor en 2011

Las marcas siguen escalando, permanecen luchando, se esfuerzan por crecer. Los éxitos del pasado sólo nos sirven para construir estadisticas y casos de estudio. ¿Quienes han estado desarrollando sus gestión de marcas globales de forma más efectiva en 2011? 
Para Fortune-CNN Money la lista de las mejores ha quedado de la siguinte forma:
  1. Apple.
  2. Google.
  3. Berkshire Hathaway.
  4. Southwest Airlines.
  5. Procter & Gamble.
  6. Coca Cola.
  7. Amazon.
  8. FedEx.
  9. Microsoft.
  10. Mc Donald's.
Para Interbrand su lista de las mejores 10 marcas globales de 2011 quedó así:
  1. Coca Cola.
  2. IBM.
  3. Microsoft.
  4. Google.
  5. General Electric.
  6. Mc Donald's.
  7. Intel.
  8. Apple.
  9. Disney.
  10. Hewlett-Packard.
Los factores que son estudiados año con año por Interbrand desde 1974 son:

1.) Peso de marca -Weight- Se refiere al liderazgo que la marca tiene en su respectiva categoría.
2.)  Proyección de marca -Breadht- Capacidad que posee la marca de satisfacer la demanda internacional acoplándose a nuevos mercados y culturas. El puntaje obtenido en esta dimensión refleja la idoneidad de la marca de extenderse en términos de edades, tipos de consumidor y presencia global. Una marca con proyección es capaz de atravesar fronteras sociales, culturales y nacionales.
3.) Extensión de marca -Lenght- Se refiere a la difusión que la marca ha alcanzado a través de los años y la forma como piensa mantenerla en el futuro. Así mismo determina su capacidad para entrar a nuevas categorías y mercados.
4.) Profundidad de marca -Depth- Un aspecto clave de una marca es el grado de compromiso que ha alcanzado con sus consumidores y la proximidad, la intimidad y la lealtad que éstos sienten hacia ella.

Entre las acciones que logran fortalecer a una marca Interbrand destaca:
  1. Compromiso de la organización hacia la marca.
  2. Protección de marca.
  3. Claridad de posicionamiento.
  4. Capacidad de respuesta a un entorno cambiante.
  5. Atenticidad, demostrando los valores que profesa.
  6. Relevancia a las necesidades de sus clientes.
  7. Entendimiento por parte de sus clientes.
  8. Consistente en tiempo y en distintos formatos.
  9. Los clientes notan la presencia donde estén.
  10. Diferenciación de la marca en su entorno competitivo.

Otra lista que no podemos dejar de mencionar es la construida por Brand-Finance de sus 500 marcas globales tomaremos las mejores 10:
  1. Google.
  2. Microsoft.
  3. Walmart.
  4. IBM.
  5. Vodafone.
  6. Bank of America.
  7. GE.
  8. Apple.
  9. Wells Fargo.
  10. AT&T.
Para BranZ el 2011 dejó una de las sorpresas más esperadas por los lovermarks de Apple, sacar a Google del primer lugar después de 4 años ocupandolo:
  1. Apple.
  2. Google.
  3. IBM.
  4. Mc Donald's.
  5. Microsoft.
  6. Coca Cola.
  7. AT&T.
  8. Marlboro.
  9. China Mobile.
  10. GE.
Para construir su tabla BrandZ lleva a cabo sondeos y entrevistas (casi 2 millones) a consumidores de 30 países alrededor del mundo.

Nos quedan pocas horas para conocer el resultado del estudio de UNITEC Laureate sobre las marcas más admiradas por los consumidores de Honduras para la edición 2011 de AURUM, esta semana por primera vez desde la ciudad de San Pedro Sula. Sabemos que este año entre los 20 nominados reaparecieron dos grandes del brandding nacional; Corporación Dinant y Banco de Occidente. Para ellos y el resto de los 18 nominados mucha suerte en 2011.

Veamos la tabla de los favorecidos por los consumidores de Honduras en 2011 en los premios AURUM:
  1. Cervecería Hondureña S.A. (Institucional).
  2. Banco FICOHSA.
  3. Telefonía móvil TIGO.
  4. Larach & Cia.
  5. Supermercados La Colonia.
  6. INTUR Varias marcas de comida rápida.
  7. Tabacalera Hondureña.
  8. Embotelladora de Sula (Pepsi).
  9. Banco Atlántida S.A.
  10. Telefonía móvil Claro y DIUNSA almacenes.

  • 1.)    The brand weight, meaning the positioning the brand has in its niche.
  • 2.)    Brand Projection – Breadht- brand’s capacity to satisfy the international demand coping with new markets and cultures. The scores in this dimension reflect the suitability of the brand to extend in term of ages, consumers and global presence. A brand with projection is able to trespass social, cultural and national barriers.  
  • 3.)    Brand’s extension –Length- the brand’s diffusion has reached through the years and a way to manage it in the future.  Likewise, determining its capacity to reach new niches and markets.
  • 4.)    Brand’s Depth, a key aspect of the brand is the level of compromise that is has reached with its consumers and the proximity, intimacy and loyalty they feel towards the brand.
  • Through some actions that strengthen a brand, Interbrand points out:
  • 1.       Compromise of the organization towards the brand.
  • 2.       Brand protection.
  • 3.       Explicitness of position.
  • 4.       Capacity to respond in a changing environment.
  • 5.       Authenticity, showing its values.
  • 6.       Relevance to its client’s needs.
  • 7.       Understanding by the clients.
  • 8.       Consistency in time and different formats.
  • 9.       Clients notice the brand’s presence wherever they are.
  • 10.   Brand’s differentiation in its competitive environment.

We only have a few hours left to know the results conducted in UNITEC Laurete about the mosr admired brands by consumers in Honduras for the 2011’s AURIM edition, for the first time, in San Pedro Sula city. We know that between the 20 nominated brands, two of the biggest national branding reappeared; Dinant Corporation and Banco de Occidente. To rest of the nominees, good luck in 2011.
